West Lodge at the London Youth Games

As we arrived at the courts, we were all feeling the same way; excited and ready to go!

Our first match was a great win, finishing 4-1 for us.  Together, we managed to overcome our next match and we won, 3-1.  Our third match gave us another win of 3-0.  We were working very well together.  The fourth game was very important as it was the last in the group.  The match was really close, but we won again with the score 2-1.

The previous matches had meant that we were the winners of our group and so we moved to a different group.  The first game in our new group was another win with 3-1 to us.  So far, we were undefeated.  But the next games were real nail-biters.

Our second match was tough, but we managed to bring it to a draw of 1-1.  The next match was really hard, as we were in our weakest positions for our rotations, but we joined together and made it a draw of 3-3.  Unfortunately, the fourth match was a really strong team and we lost 3-0.  We got back on our feet for the last game, defeating the opponents 5-1.

Although we didn't get into the semi-finals, we came 5th out of the 31 London boroughs.

We showed determination, teamwork and played great netball.  Overall, it was an exciting day.
