School Trips

Whether it be the chance to see the remains of a hypocaust, visit the heart of the UK justice system and take part in a mock court case, learn about how police horses are trained or take part in a science investigation to discover which animals live in our local rivers; the opportunties to learn outside the classroom at West Lodge are varied and frequent.

That's because we understand that visits ignite imaginations, consolidate understanding, encourage exploration and prompt discussion.

We have a programme of residential opportunities starting with a two day/1 night trip for year 3 and 4 children and leading up to the School Journey that children enjoy in years 5 and 6 are designed to increase independence, build teamworking skills, encourage adventure, solve problems and put our Learning Powers into practice in non classroom environments.
