We run 'West Lodge Welcome' sessions for Nursery and Reception new joiners (in addition to the whole-school induction morning) prior to them starting in September.

This is an opportunity for the children to meet their new classmates, key members of staff, familiarise themselves with the school and become comfortable in their new learning environment.

We also send out welcome packs for all new EYFS starters, including a photo booklet featuring staff and classroom pictures for you to read with your child over the summer holidays.

In addition, if you feel that your child would benefit from a member of staff meeting them at their current setting, then we would be more than happy to accommodate this.
